frances fleming Wansley

Born and raised in the quaint city of Ashtabula, Ohio, I am the youngest daughter born to the union of Kneeley Mae (Ford) and Herman Francis Fleming. My parents were the founders of Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ but also held various positions at the district, state and national levels of the church.However, their greatest contributions to their legacies were not attributed to their church work alone but in unwavering commitments to their family and service to the community. Both of my parents were well known for their willingness to serve whomever, wherever and whenever an opportunity presented itself. Their active demonstration of God outside of the “four-walls” definitely expanded their sphere of influence which paved the way for so many to be introduced to God and a better way of living. Who am I? I am an extension of the love and wisdom of God as His daughter first. But I am also, them, an extension of my heritage. I obtained my Bachelors in Applied Psychology as well as a Master’s in Public Administration from Franklin University. I have used my credentials as an Education Administrator at all levels: Elementary, Middle and High School. I am currently operating as a Career Technical Education (CTE) Placement Specialist/AMP Coach with Oakmont by way of Franklinton Prep High School and YouthBuild Columbus. The CTE Programs provide Industry Recognized Certifications that allow me to generate and maintain community partnerships with employers in the Central Ohio area offering promising job opportunities to graduates while providing continuous on the job training for them for one-year post graduation. I have served as the VP of Imagine Columbus Primary Academy’s School Board since 2018. I am a member of the Board of Directors for Franklinton Rising, which is a Christian based Construction Company that has committed to sharing the gospel of Christ with youths while empowering them with skillsets that will create a lifetime of opportunities. I am an active partner with Franklinton Board of Trade to enhance and promote the beautification, safety and overall improvement of the Franklinton Area. I actively serve on a number of committees within the frameworks that I mentioned.I am a wife, mother and now a “Grances”. I have been married to Derrick L. Wansley for nearly 28 years and we have two daughters, Daria and Zaria and an amazing grandson named, Ayan. I am a member of Rebirth Columbus Worship Center under the leadership of Darren (Sonya) Thomas. I am currently serving as Director of IGNITE, Rebirth’s youth department.
