Reuel Barksdale
Reuel Barksdale is an established organizational development specialist with over twenty years of corporate experience. As an Assistant Vice President of a Fortune 500 corporation, he had direct regional and national responsibility for the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of organizational development strategies and activities.

Mr. Barksdale is a Professor in the Business Programs Department at Columbus State Community College where he coordinates the Human Resources Management Degree and Certificate Programs. He is recognized as a “teacher of excellence” in the state of Ohio and has received the Columbus State Community College “Distinguished Teacher Award”. His love for teaching has also led to adjunct teaching assignments at Franklin University, Ohio Dominican University the Tod Bell National Resources Center and Otterbein College. Most recently he was awarded a certificate of recognition for teaching excellence from the Mayor of Columbus and was awarded the living the legacy in education award presented by the African Americans Committee Incorporated.

Professor Barksdale holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Franklin University, a Master of Science degree in Business from Central Michigan University, and is ABD status at Ohio University where he studied Higher Education Administration.
As a motivational speaker and organizational development consultant, Professor Barksdale has addressed organizations throughout the country on the subjects of strategic planning, staff development, diversity management, and conflict management. His mission is to help individuals and organizations move from where they are to where they want to be.
His recently published book “Lessons Beneath the Mask, From Pain to Promise” is quickly becoming a must read for anyone who has faced adversity while pursuing their dreams.
